Gracie still hasn’t returned, so I haven’t been able to upgrade Nooklings yet. I have been getting plenty of igloos. Unfortunately, none of the characters in them are ones that I want. I had two birthdays within days of each other: Moe and Pierce.
If you are going to reset the day by going back before 6:00 am then forward again, you should be aware that you aren’t going to be getting mail such as the snowman stuff. Speaking of which, it takes a while to build up the Snowboy furniture: fridge (2), carpet (1), snowman – looks like snowboy- (1), tv (1), sofa (2), wall (1), table (1), clock (1). I’ve been alternating between snowmam (in order to get money since I have the ice furniture I want) and snowboy.
I have a fire pit. It’s really neat. It makes crackling noises. I have been busy putting up street lamps to take away some of the winter gloom. Not long ago, jacob’s ladder flowers started appearing. I saw on a video blog online that means my village is considered perfect. I’m not sure about that, but I’ll take it.
I still have way too much stuff in my house, but I am slowly upgrading the rooms. I have one more upgrade left for every room but the center one.
The fourth fishing tourney is on 1/18/14 and is an all-horse-mackerel event. The horse mackerel can be found in the ocean and is the second largest fish. I spent time in the river thinking it was the barbell steed. By the time I got to the ocean, Moe already had submitted a decent catch, which knocked some of mine out of contention. I ended up getting a puffer fish tv, a jellyfish lamp and an octopus chair for my mom (among a couple of repeats). This is the same selection as the first tournament. I ended up winning the tournament. I have no idea where to put all the trophies.
There was a snow storm on day 143 or 1/16/14. It got really heavy at night.
